Why I love my wife Michelle

Michelle is someone who spends more time thinking about others than she does thinking about herself. She is always going out of her way to put a smile on someone’s face—like sending care packages when a nephew went to camp, creating welcome baskets for new neighbors, or congratulation packages for the newest puppy in the neighborhood. She’s always hiding little notes or cards for me to find.

Michelle is a nurturing person but during the holidays I see her compassion and loving spirit extend even further. Michelle "adopts" a few children in need every Christmas. She anxiously waits for their hand written letters, and once she has them she is off trying to create a very special Christmas for these children. Michelle spends time tracking down the gifts they asked for and finding ones she thinks they may enjoy. She treats each one of these children as if they were one of her own.

Michelle has a way of making things fun, memorable and special. She’s always organizing special events whether she’s planning her Moms 60th surprise party, or organizing family Christmas parties. Michelle cherishes the time spent with family and friends.

Michelle loves to focus on the positive in life. She loves to touch the lives of others and is always willing to help out when she can. Michelle finds the beauty in each and every moment. She cherishes the time she gets to spend with children and has a natural way of connecting with them.

Michelle is filled with creative ideas and can't wait to share that creativity with a child. You can usually find her with the our niece and nephew making Play-Doh figures, creating chalk drawings on the sidewalk, painting or any of the other latest fun activities she can find.

She loves to decorate for the holidays especially Christmas and Halloween. The children in our neighborhood will stop her to ask when she is going to start decorating for Halloween. She gets so much enjoyment out of the happiness it brings the kids.

Michelle is a huge animal lover. She will stop if there is any animal in need of help. Recently, she rescued two kittens from the side of the road, nursed them back to health and got them rehomed together.

Michelle graduated with a bachelors degree in finance, and rose quickly to the top of her company before realizing she preferred something with more creativity. SHE LEFT HER CAREER TO BE A "STAY-AT-HOME MOM" AND SHE CAN'T WAIT!

Michelle was meant to be a mom. She is filled with so much love, compassion and encouragement. I can't wait until the day I get to see that dream come true.
